Nato in California e ora residente a Brooklyn, Simon Hanes è un compositore, interprete e arrangiatore, nonché una delle figure di spicco della nuova generazione della scena musicale del Downtown newyorkese.
Mente creativa del grande ensemble pop Tredici Bacci, frequente collaboratore di J. G. Thirlwell e membro della band Trigger (che esegue le “Bagatelles” di Zorn), l’energia travolgente di Simon è sempre il momento clou di ogni sua esibizione dal vivo. 
Qui guida un gruppo all’avanguardia di giovani anticonformisti in un programma di composizioni originali ispirate al surf.

Formazione:
Jonathan Starks batterista, produttore e pianista originario di Phoenix, in Arizona. Ha conseguito il master presso il New England Conservatory nel 2020 e ora vive a New York. Si tiene impegnato suonando la batteria in diverse band, producendo dischi, facendo il DJ e impartendo lezioni di musica.

La bassista e compositrice Anna Abondolo è cresciuta a Los Angeles e attualmente vive a Brooklyn, New York. Frequenta il quarto anno al New England Conservatory, dove studia jazz. Ha studiato con Donald Palma, Frank Carlberg, John Clayton, Anthony Coleman, Jason Moran e John Mallia. Oltre che con i propri gruppi e progetti, si è esibita con artisti del calibro di Sean Jones, Dianne Reeves e Tom Kubis.

✦ VINCENZO VASI 

Vincenzo Vasi, noto soprattutto per essere un componente della band che suona dal vivo con Vinicio Capossela, è un compositore polistrumentista versatile e dallo stile surreale. Suona basso, theremin, marimba, vibrafono, tastiere e canta. 
È attivo sulle scene fin dal 1990 nell’ambito della musica di ricerca, facendo parte di almeno dieci progetti. Attratto dalla musica elettronica e dal concetto di spazializzazione del suono, ha partecipato attivamente a numerose installazioni sonore in Italia ed in Canada. 
Soltanto nel 1998 ha iniziato a sviluppare l’utilizzo del theremin, diventandone in breve tempo un virtuoso.
